Voices of Resilience - Jewish Women’s Healing Circles
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What are Jewish Women’s Healing Circles?
Our Healing Circles are sacred, supportive gatherings for Jewish women to process personal and collective experiences in a safe space. Rooted in Jewish wisdom, somatic practices, and trauma-informed facilitation, these circles honor ancestry, build resilience, and invite healing through shared presence.
How often and where do the circles meet?
We meet monthly on Zoom for 90-minute sessions. Additionally, we host optional in-person gatherings quarterly in New York City to deepen connection through ritual, movement, and embodied practices.
How long is the program?
We offer the program in 6-month seasonal cycles. Participants are welcome to renew each cycle, take breaks, or continue as long as the container supports their growth.
Is there a cost to participate?
Yes. The 6-month program is $774, with monthly payment plans available. This supports the energy, care, and professional guidance brought into each circle.
PARTICIPATION & EXPERIENCE
How many women are in each circle?
We limit each group to 18 women to ensure depth, safety, and shared presence.
What happens in a typical session?
Each gathering includes grounding practices, embodied awareness, guided reflection, storytelling, and intentional listening. Every session is gently structured but attuned to the collective energy and needs of the group.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No preparation is required. You’re invited to bring:
A quiet, comfortable space
A candle or meaningful object (optional)
A journal or something to write with
Will I be expected to share personal stories?
Only if you feel called. Your voice is welcome, and your silence is honored. You are free to witness, reflect, or participate however feels right to you.
What if I miss a session?
Life happens. The container is designed to hold you even when you can’t attend every meeting. Each session stands alone while contributing to the collective momentum.
How are in-person gatherings different from Zoom sessions?
In-person gatherings deepen the work through physical presence, sacred ritual, shared meals, and creative expression. They are spacious, nurturing extensions of what we cultivate online.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Do I need to be religious or observant to join?
No. Our circles are open to Jewish women of all identities—secular, spiritual, cultural, and religious. All expressions of Judaism are welcome.
What if my experiences with antisemitism feel minor or unclear?
Your story is valid, whether it involves microaggressions or inherited silence. This space honors the full spectrum of your Jewish experience.
What if I’m not ready to talk about it?
That’s perfectly okay. There’s no pressure to speak before you’re ready. You may receive great healing simply by being present.
JOINING THE CIRCLE
How do I sign up?
We are accepting applicants for our September 10th Cohort launch. Once you sign up – HERE, you’ll receive an invitation for a brief intro call, all session reminders, Zoom links, and any other necessary materials.
Is there an application?
We don’t require a formal application, but we do set up a 20-minute discovery call to explore if it’s the right fit.
Can I speak with someone before committing?
Yes. You can schedule a 20-minute intro conversation with one of the facilitators to feel into the space.
FACILITATORS & APPROACH
What qualifications do the facilitators have?
Our facilitators offer diverse backgrounds in coaching, trauma-informed care, Jewish wisdom traditions, somatic practices, and group facilitation. They are deeply committed to holding a safe and sacred space.
What experience do they have with trauma-informed practices?
With training in trauma-sensitive approaches, our facilitators understand the impact of intergenerational and collective trauma. They create containers of care, consent, and respect.
How will the facilitators ensure the space remains safe for everyone?
We begin each session with co-created shared agreements around confidentiality, presence, and non-judgment. Throughout the circle, facilitators guide with attunement, ensuring all voices are respected and no one is pressured to share.
What if the group is full?
You can join our waitlist and we’ll notify you when a space opens or a new cohort is forming.
